Control of the myoss.io settersystem is with a WebApp, which is available on a dedicated touch screen on the organ, or remote via tablet, laptop or mobile device. If you do not want to modify the console for the myoss.io system, you can control the system completely via a tablet, including on screen ’thumbpistons’.

The app will show the current sequencer position or generals / divisional sets. Additionally, extensive editing of the sequences, including library management is also available here. You can work with one big memory bank with unlimited steps (e.g. 10000+) or have a separate sequence for each piece that can be organized in folders. During a concert the “P+” and “P-” buttons allow you to quickly select the next sequence in the library and you can copy or move sequences between folders or even users. Users can also have their own set-up of combinations or even piston assignments, all protected by either a pincode or (social) login.

With the visual editor, you can finally see what every step does and the system automatically shows the delta between steps. You can edit the steps with the app, while away from the console.

Editing has all the features, like insert and delete, but also renumbering, undo/redo and multi-action steps (configure tremolo speed, reconfigure pistons, load a new divisional set and change the piston color scheme at the press of a single piston). Editing between the console and the app is synchronized and so at the console you can use both systems at the same time.

Find and replace will allow you to change stops (e.g. remove the out-of-tune Trumpet or replace it with a Oboe) or reuse an existing sequence on another organ.

The app is also an handy aid during tuning or when finding the right stops when in the hall with someone else playing the organ as you can remotely control the stops and the pistons with the app.

The software is fixed in the Setter Computer, but can be updated with more functionality on demand, just like mobile apps. The library can be synchronized to the cloud for back-up or remote configuration.
